Our name, the Touch of Light Centre for the Deafblind, depicts the most important aspect of the interventional process of the deafblind child – that of ‘touch’. It is primarily through touch that deafblind children interact with their environment to develop their cognitive and communication skills.

The Centre is located on Menelik Rd. in Nairobi, Kenya. It is an ideal location that is well served with good infrastructure and recreational facilities; and is near the only unit for deafblind children in Nairobi.
